The Breast Stays Put
PAMELA DAWN HOEPPNER
It is with great sadness that I have been asked to report to everyone that Pamela Hoeppner, author of The Breast Stays Put, passed away on the morning of August 24, 2009. We apologize for the delay in reporting this news to everyone; however, we have been trying to ascertain as many facts surrounding Pam’s passing as possible prior to releasing this devastating news.
Pam found out
sometime earlier in 2009 that she was dealing with some type of pathology in
her breast again and a very serious infection had developed therein as well. It
is unclear the exact nature of this breast pathology. However, Pam’s daughter reports that she felt she was
dealing, at the very least, with an extreme inflammatory situation and/or that
she had signs very much in keeping with that of inflammatory breast
cancer. As Pam mentioned honestly
in her book, she always had an area of concern that was remaining in her breast
even when in 2005 her diagnostic testing could find no more signs of active
cancer. She always felt that it
was an area of necrotic tissue from the biopsy site.
Pam’s family has told us that when Pam became concerned, she did go back on Protocel® for about three months in the early spring this year. However, she did not stay on Protocel® due to the fact that she was experiencing extreme tiredness and would have increased pain in her breast shortly after taking Protocel® doses. (Symptoms very similar to those she had with her first experiences with Protocel®.) Instead of staying on Protocel®, however, after this short period of time, Pam made the choice to stop taking Protocel® and began taking some other alternative therapies.
On May 29th, Pam ended up hospitalized due to a massive bacterial infection. This infection required i.v. antibiotic therapy both in the hospital and at home for a period of 30 days. Serious systemic infections greatly stress the immune system and the body physically. From what has been reported by her family, it is apparent that after this infection, Pam just was not able to get her strength back. Additionally, she was also hospitalized again briefly in August due to breathing difficulties. Pam’s physicians thought she had extensive fluid in her lungs; however, they were only able to drain off a small amount of liquid. This lead her family to believe that Pam was dealing with another serious infection, especially in light of the fact that she was put back on antibiotics. Pam was released from the hospital the following day. That evening, she spent with her family making plans for an expectation of recovery from this latest infection and from whatever was occurring in her breast. Unfortunately for us, God had other plans for Pam. Our loss is Heaven’s gain as Pam passed away less than two days later. Her passing has been a complete shock for her family as well.
The above
factors, and many more not mentioned herein, contributed to Pam’s passing. As no autopsy was performed, we will
never know the actual cause of her untimely death. However, it is felt that the bacterial infection played a
significant role. Of further note,
at the time of her death, Pam had not resumed taking Protocel®
Pam wrote The Breast Stays Put with
complete honesty and integrity.
After being initially diagnosed with cancer in January of 2004, Pam used
the Protocel® formula alone to bring
herself to the point where no scans or other diagnostic tests could detect any
more active signs of cancer in her body. She then wrote her book to document
her journey to recovery and how she was able to rid her body of all active
signs of her very aggressive cancer without going through surgery,
chemotherapy, radiation, or hormone-blocking drugs – a feat conventional
medicine says is impossible to do.
It is our hope that her book and website will continue to help others
who are looking for hope and seeking to find options outside the conventional
realm.
We also hope
that Pam’s passing makes the following abundantly clear:
1) That
it is important to make sure that you stay on Protocel® a sufficient length of time for complete
recovery. Protocel® should NOT be stopped if there is any kind of foreign
"matter" still remaining in the body. This holds true even if you are made to feel safe by a scan
that states this "matter" is nothing of concern as it is no longer
enhancing or showing activity on such scan(s). We have lost too many individuals because they stopped
taking Protocel® when they still had
something remaining that had supposedly gone into a “non-enhancing” state.
Remember, this left over "matter" does not belong in your
body; therefore, should not be let to remain in your body indefinitely. Further, it most likely still contains
cancer cells, just not in a concentration large enough to show up on scans any
longer. You should always error on the side of your safety. You just need to be patient and protect
yourself by continuing on Protocel® until
absolutely everything is completely gone from your body.
2) That you need to undertake some sort of
periodic testing, conventional or alternative (such as the HCG urine test), to
monitor yourself. Be aware of any
major health changes in your body.
Be pro-active – if you feel there is a possibility of a problem, get on
Protocel® immediately and consider doing
some sort of follow-up testing.
3) That it is better to err on the side of your
safety and to take Protocel® for 1 year
past any all clear scan(s) and/or blood work or alternative urine testing that
would give you an indication that you are cancer free. Then, it truly is extremely important
to do a regular yearly maintenance program of 1 bottle of
Protocel®/Cancell® OR
2 bottles of Protocel®/Entelev®. (Many individuals choose never to stop taking
Protocel®.)
